Nudge Global Impact Award

During the Nudge Summit, Jaap Smit, Commissioner of the King for the province of South Holland, will hand out the Nudge Global Impact Awards. This prize celebrates the positive impact on society and the world that the participants of the Challenge are achieving through the realisation of their Sustainability Impact Plan. Nudge partnered up with the Department of Environmental Policy Analysis of the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam to assess the impact made by participants, from which six finalists were determined. A jury will choose three Selected Awardees who will win a Nudge Global Impact Award.

Jan van Betten, founder of Nudge:

“Nudge focuses on impact. The Nudge Global Impact Challenge is the instrument for young professionals and their organisations to realise change and impact. Changing the lives of one billion people in a positive way and tackling global issues. Is it possible when you are 23 years old? Yes, you can when you know how to mobilise your organisation towards doing business for good. Nudge realises the worldwide impact our alumni have created, it is about time to award them for that.”

Nudge Summit in the Peace Palace

He will share the results of the Glocalities global survey report, inspired by Nelson Mandela’s dream to eradicate poverty, titled ‘Increasing knowledge and activating Millennials for making poverty history’.
