Nudge is thrilled that this year, Unilever will sponsor 5 wild card candidates! As a company that takes sustainability very seriously, Unilever wants to give these opportunities to young professionals who will make as much positive impact as possible.
Unilever has a simple but clear purpose – to make sustainable living commonplace. They believe this is the best long-term way for their business to grow.
Eight years ago, the company created the Unilever Sustainable Living Plan (USLP) to build a business that the world could be proud of. Beyond the targets, their purpose ‘to make sustainable living commonplace’ has inspired innovation, new ways of doing business and purposeful brands.
Unilever’s activities also relate to the circular economy theme of this year’s Challenge, as they have committed to halving the waste associated with the disposal of their products by 2020 and so are accelerating their efforts towards a more circular economy.
